ATTENTION
For single-day rentals of Cars, Buggies, Scooters, or Quads, the standard rental period is from 09:00 to 18:00 on the same day.
We do not offer 24-hour rentals as a standard (noon to noon or morning to morning), with exceptions for special occasions upon request.
General Rental Information for Buggies, Quads and Scooters
The minimum age to rent a Scooter is over 18 year’s old and the Quad or Buggy is 21 years old and the driver must have a valid driving license for at least 1 year.
The renter and all drivers must have a valid driver’s license which must be presented at the time of rental.
- AM Category: Scooters 50cc
- A1 Category: up to Scooters 125cc
- A2 Category: up to Scooters 300cc
- A Category: all Scooter’s and Motor’s
- B Category: Quads & Buggies
Only authorized and contracted drivers are allowed to drive the rented vehicle.
Buggies, Quads and Scooter rental insurance coverage terms and conditions
The insurance covers:
- Bodily injury to third parties 1.300.000€/person.
- Material damage to third parties 1.300.000€.
- 24h Road assistance.
If the Lessee causes an accident, the insurance will cover the damages ONLY for the involved vehicle. Full Ιnsurance does not cover the cost of damage in the event of an accident in which the guest is the sole party (accident without the involvement of another vehicle and/or due to misuse of the vehicle). In this case, the guest must pay the full cost of damages.
Protection Conditions
General Rental Terms for Buggies, Quads and Scooters.
- The driver is obliged to respect the speed limits (up to 50 km/h on the main road, up to 40 km/h in residential areas) and to comply with the Highway Code.
- The renter is obliged to follow the Highway Code (use of seat belts, helmets, respect for other vehicles and pedestrians on the road).
- The duration of the lease is fixed. The Lessee is obliged to return the vehicle to the agreed location at the agreed time. If there is a delay without notice, IdealRentals is entitled to charge the Lessee an additional fee.
- The use of helmets on motorcycles and ATV’s as well as the use of seat belts on Buggies is compulsory for all riders.
- The driver bears the cost of any fines issued by the competent authorities during the rental of the vehicle.
- It is prohibited to use the vehicle for illegal acts (drug transportation, theft, illegal speeding, safari, off-road driving, driving on sand (salt pans), drifting. In any case, IDEALRENTALS has the right to terminate the rental and collect the vehicle without prior notice.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
- The cost of fuel is the sole responsibility of the Lessee. He is obliged upon delivery of the vehicle to have the tank filled with the corresponding fuel content of the vehicle when he received it. Otherwise, he shall be charged the amount of the fuel consumed.
- In case of returning the vehicle with extra fuel, no money will be refunded.
- IDEALRENTALS is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
- It is forbidden to transfer the vehicle to another island without the consent of Ideal Rentals.
- The Lessee is obliged to immediately inform Idealrentals of any damage that may occur to the vehicles during the rental period. If late notification of damage to the vehicle is made, IdealRentals shall not be liable and shall not be obliged to repair the damage or replace the vehicle.
- The destruction and loss of helmets, parts and accessories due to misuse and the loss or destruction of the vehicle’s key are the responsibility of the Lessee and must be replaced with items of equal value or pay the current price respectively( 50€ lost of the key).
- In case of actual/normal damage to the vehicle, depending on the availability of vehicles, an immediate replacement with a vehicle of equal or greater value will be made and no compensation will be given.
- Unnecessary use of the Road Service in case the vehicle is not supplied with sufficient fuel will be charged. (Road Service: 30 € and the value of the fuel). In the case of being stuck on a beach / Salt Lake / Cavo Paradiso, the Road Service will be charged 150 €.
- Idealrentals does not cover the costs in case of an accident where the Lessee is universally responsible (accident without the contribution of another vehicle or misuse of the vehicle). In this case the lessee is liable for the full cost of the damages.
- In case of an accident, the driver is obliged to immediately inform IdealRentals and the police and collect any information about the accident (photos, eyewitnesses, details of the vehicle involved, etc.)
General Car Rental Information
The minimum age for renting a car is 21 years and the driver must have a valid driving license (B Class) for at least 1 year.

Car rental insurance coverage terms and conditions
Full insurance (FDW) covers:
- Physical damage to third parties up to 1.300.000€/person.
- Material damage to third parties up to 1.300.000€.
- Personal accident up to 15.000€.
- Legal protection for drivers up to 3.000€.
- Insurance of a covered vehicle from an uninsured vehicle up to €100,000
- Medical care.
- Fire
- Total or partial theft.
- Vehicle damage caused by the driver with another moving object.
The Extra Insurance (5 €/day) includes:
- The underbody of the vehicle.
- The wheels and tires of the vehicle.
- Mirrors and broken windscreens
The Extra Insurance is only valid for driving on paved roads. Damage caused by driving on unpaved roads is not covered by any insurance.
